The effect of beneficial microorganism as biofertilizer application in hydroponic-grown tomato

<p>The use of N<sub>2</sub>-fixing bacteria and growth hormone-producing rhizobacteria delivers nitrogen, enhances nutrients absorption by plants, reduces the usage inorganic fertilizers. Implementing biofertilizer in hydroponic system as a means to reduce application synthetic nutrient is recently interest due economic, food safety, sustainability factors. This study determines effects dose on tomato yields hydroponics system. A randomized block design was utilized that consisted seven treatments, namely 100% fertilizer 0% (control), various doses combined with 25%, 50%, 75%, biofertilizer. The result illustrated augmented population endophytic bacteria, <em>Azotobacter</em> sp., <em>Azospirillum</em> phosphate solubilizing nitrogen content. distinct combination did not alter phosphorus potassium content compared control samples however resulted superior grade. 50% amplified weight fruit 36% control. finding indicates biofertilizers for plants only beneficial minimizing dosage fertilizers but also enhancing quality.</p>
